Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the coin calculators?

Pick any coin from the list above to open a calculator prefilled with its live price. The Position Size tool sizes a trade by risk based on your stop-loss, and the Win Rate Simulator stress-tests a strategy across hundreds of simulated trades. Inputs save in your browser so a refresh keeps your numbers.

What is position size?

Position size is the amount of an asset you buy or sell in a single trade — measured either in units of the coin (e.g. 0.1 BTC) or USD. The calculator derives it from your account size, risk percentage and stop-loss distance, so a losing trade only costs the dollar amount you chose to risk.

How do I calculate my trading risk?

Multiply your account balance by the percentage of capital you are willing to lose on a single trade (often 1-2%). That dollar amount divided by the distance from your entry to your stop-loss gives the maximum position size. Both the Position Size Calculator and the Win Rate Simulator on every coin page automate this maths.
