1. No refunds on digital subscriptions
All FinToolbox Premium purchases are final and non-refundable. Premium is a digital service that is made available to you immediately after payment. By starting your subscription you expressly consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that this waives your statutory right of withdrawal under § 18 Abs 1 Z 11 FAGG (Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act) / Art. 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
2. Cancel anytime
You can cancel your subscription at any time on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep full access to Premium until then, and you will not be charged for the next period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a period.
3. Free trial
If a free trial is offered when you subscribe, the trial period is shown in the Stripe checkout. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Trials are limited to one per user.
4. Failed payments & involuntary churn
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries automatically for a few days. If all retries fail, your subscription is cancelled and Premium access ends. You can resubscribe anytime from /premium/.
5. Exceptions
We may issue a refund at our sole discretion in cases of:
- verifiable duplicate or accidental charges;
- service outages that materially prevented you from using Premium for a sustained period;
- cases required by mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
To request a refund under one of these exceptions, email [email protected] within 14 days of the charge with your account email and the Stripe receipt id.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is resolved. Please reach out first — the fastest fix is usually a quick reply from [email protected].
7. Free tools
All non-Premium tools on FinToolbox remain free to use. This policy applies only to the Premium subscription. See the Terms of Service for the full agreement.
